The GREENVERSITY Project adapts the European Commission’s GreenComp framework to provide higher education institutions with a structured model for embedding sustainability competences into their curricula. By utilising a detailed taxonomy of knowledge, skills and attitudes, the GREENVERSITY CORE Framework offers educators and institutional leaders practical rubrics to foster systemic thinking and ethical leadership in students. This evidence-based approach ensures that future professionals are equipped with the essential tools to drive the transition towards a more resilient and sustainable global society.

Proiectul GREENVERSITY adaptează cadrul GreenComp al Comisiei Europene pentru a oferi instituțiilor de învățământ superior un model structurat de integrare a competențelor de sustenabilitate în programele de studiu. This report employs a Triple Bottom Line analytical framework to explore the systematic integration of green skills, sustainable leadership and future-oriented competences within higher education. By bridging the gap between academic curricula and the evolving demands of the green economy, it provides educators and institutional leaders with an evidence-based roadmap for fostering ethical governance and social innovation. Ultimately, the document serves as a strategic tool for advancing the European Green Transition, equipping a new generation of professionals to lead transformative change across environmental, social and economic dimensions.

Developed as a foundational element of the GREENVERISTY project, this document identifies and analyses successful international initiatives to support the creation of a transversal framework for sustainability competences in higher education.
